Sack Kraft Paper Market Size Trends and Forecast 2016 – 2026

Sack Kraft paper is manufactured from either bleached softwood kraft or unbleached sulphate pulp having excellent mechanical strength and grammage. It is a porous in nature with excellent durability and tensile strength, and widely used for packaging of goods such as cements, fertilizers, minerals, chemicals (solid), animal feed products and food among others. It is mostly consumed in conversion of multiwall sack bags demanding for high strength and durability. Critical properties such as high tensile energy absorption (TEA) and low air resistance are indispensable in order to manufacture sack from Kraft paper.
Sack Kraft paper can be easily recyclable and offers excellent printability, durability and porosity. It can be coated with high density polyethylene (HDPE) films, low density polyethylene (LDPE), jute and other materials which having same elongation properties. Sack Kraft paper is distinguished by elevated elasticity and it can be easily customized depends on end-user requirement. Based on its elasticity, sack kraft papers are commercially available in market which includes natural kraft paper, semi-extensible kraft paper, extensible kraft paper and coated kraft paper.
Sack Kraft Paper Market: Market Dynamics

Sack Kraft paper is an excellent alternative for plastic packaging and has found great applications across end-use industries such as cements, chemicals, agrochemicals, food and beverages, construction and packaging among others. Owing to its value added application across end-use industries, demand for sack kraft paper is expected to grow significantly over the forecast period. Cements and building materials industry is accounted for highest consumption of sack kraft papers, recent developments in infrastructure in developing economies is expected to augment the demand of sack kraft papers. However the sustainability of market is highly dependent on price and supply of raw materials – soft wood.
